Volt is immediately hiring for Machine Operators for a company located in Cerritos, CA.

As a Rotary Die Cut Assistant Operator you will:

Support the lead operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of rotary die cutting machines. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. The Assistant Operator is expected to develop technical skills with the goal of becoming a fully qualified machine operator.

Set up and organize job materials and tools before each run.
Accurately complete daily production records and time tracking forms.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Open machines and remove/replace damaged products as needed using hand tools.
Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and participate in daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance routines.
Collaborate with team members across departments to maximize production efficiency.
Follow all standard operating procedures, department policies, and safety/environmental regulations.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

This is a full time opportunity. Monday through Friday with OT as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working in a packaging company or manufacturing

Shift: 1st- 6am to 2:30pm and 2nd-230pm to 11pm

Pay Rate: $20-$24 per hour
