Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Coder II.
Key Responsibilities
Assigns ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, ensuring accurate DRG
assignments and compliance with coding guidelines
Communicates with the Clinical Documentation Improvement team to
resolve discrepancies and validate clinical documentation
Maintains coding turnaround times while collaborating with other
departments to meet monthly goals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Program Graduate in Health Information Management Services (HIMS)
or related field (Preferred)
3-4 years of active inpatient coding experience in acute care
(Required)
Certification as a CCS, CCA, RHIA, RHIT, or CIC from recognized
organizations (Required)
