Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pre-authorization Representative in
Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Manage authorizations and notifications for service requests via
calls, faxes, and portals
Provide excellent customer service and handle escalated calls
effectively
Coordinate with Medical Directors and clinical staff for
authorization cases and maintain production standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
2+ years of experience in healthcare, call center, or customer
service settings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word,
Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10, and CPT codes
Must have a HIPAA-compliant dedicated work area and secure handling
of sensitive documents
