Job DescriptionOUR MISSIONThrough academic rigor, character development, and a structured learning environment, Soleil Academy Charter School ensures that every transitional kindergarten through 5th grade scholar has the foundation necessary for college success and a future bright with opportunity.THE POSITIONCampus Monitors will be responsible for supervising students at arrival, snack and lunch, recess, and dismissal as assigned in order to maintain student safety. THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise students during arrival, snack, lunch, recess, and dismissal to maintain positive behavior
  • Escort students to designated locations as needed
  • Assist with set-up and preparation of equipment, activities, and events, as time permits
  • Assists in general supervision of the campus as directed by administrators
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations
  • Report serious infractions to administration for possible disciplinary action
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Maintain high expectations for student behavior
  • Model and teach core values of Soleil Academy
  • Communicate with teachers and leadership regarding student behaviors
  • Follow policies and procedures for health, safety, and nutrition

    • Bilingual Spanish preferredTHE QUALIFICATIONSRequired:
      • Strong commitment to Soleil Academy's mission and vision
      • High school diploma or equivalent; AA or higher preferred
      • Excellent organizational skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
