This established defense firm has a deep pipeline of construction defect and insurance defense matters and is adding an Associate Attorney to help meet growing demand. What You'll Do Handle a caseload focused primarily on construction defect litigation, with exposure to broader insurance defense matters Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and dispositive motions with confidence and precision Conduct and defend depositions involving experts, contractors, and key witnesses Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and case management What's Offered Base salary range of $150,000 to $170,000, depending on overall background Discretionary performance bonuses and origination credit Origination bonus equal to 25 percent of fees generated, excluding firm costs Unlimited PTO plus nine paid holidays Fully remote work arrangement with a flexible schedule Annual billable expectation of 1800 hours, with bonuses beginning above that threshold Strong paralegal and administrative support Benefits Snapshot Health insurance is fully paid for employees and partially covered for dependents Medical plans include Blue Cross PPO or a Blue Cross Select HSA option Dental coverage through a Delta Dental PPO Vision coverage paid in full Life insurance, long-term disability, and additional benefits 401(k) eligibility shortly after joining Why This Role Stands Out This is a true lifestyle-focused practice.
