Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Orange, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,617 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Orange, California, 92868! Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night (3x12-Hour) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required. High acuity ICU experience preferred. License: Valid state RN license required; no temporary licenses accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: Recent ICU experience. Ability to float between like units. Weekend availability every other weekend; may exceed based on unit needs. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with extensive experience in the intensive care unit. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of recent ICU experience with a preference for high acuity settings. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:2. Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support services are critical in this role. Expected patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, stroke, acute renal failure, and multi-system organ failure. The nurse will be involved in special procedures such as post-angioplasty care, management of ventilators, and continuous renal replacement therapy. Strong clinical skills in areas such as arterial line management, titration of medications, and dysrhythmia interpretation are essential. Candidates should be prepared to manage patients who require complex interventions and exhibit multisystem organ dysfunction.
