Sterile Processing Tech Location: Northridge, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,610 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Sterile Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0645-1515, Wed-Sun) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: - BLS Certification - Certified Sterile Processing Technician Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in sterile processing - Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD - BLS certification Description: Experience in sterile processing is required. Certification is mandatory for sterile processing technicians. Equipment used includes Steris and Sterad. Common patient equipment to disinfect involves high-level disinfection, VP Plasma, and steam sterilization. Shifts are 8 hours long and consist of morning, afternoon, and night options. Floating to other areas is not required. The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is preferred. This position is in an acute care setting. The trauma level of the facility is 2. Qualified candidates must possess the necessary certifications.
