Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - 2 years of Emergency Department experience Description: This role is for a registered nurse in an emergency department setting. The unit has 67 beds and approximately 225 staff members. Staff includes supervisors, charge nurses, multi-skilled technicians, certified nursing assistants, and emergency nurses. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1. Candidates must possess a strong ability to adapt to changing acuity and census levels within the emergency room. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Nurses are required to wear navy scrubs. Visible tattoos are not allowed, and hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back. Gel or acrylic nails are prohibited.
