Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience; high acuity ICU experience highly preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required Must-Have: Recent ICU experience required. High acuity ICU experience highly preferred. Weekend availability required every other weekend. Willingness to float between like units. Must be able to work 3 of the 5 major holidays. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience. Experience in high acuity settings is highly preferred. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2. This assignment requires weekend shifts every other weekend. Travelers will need to float to similar units as required. The facility may call off staff once per two-week pay period. References must include two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years. All staff are expected to float between facilities within the given state. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Communication devices needed to perform duties will be supplied at no cost when required. Travelers should expect to complete modules on time, which will be self-reported. Completion of modules is necessary prior to the start of the assignment.
