The Therapist provides crisis intervention, intake assessment, individual, family and group therapy to adults, children and families with a history of mental illness. This includes coordinating support services to assist clients with independent living. The Therapist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining documentation of client services within clients' charts, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures, Department of Mental Health contract and other related agencies' standards and guidelines.

The Jericho Vocational Services Center (JVSC) utilizes a "one-stop" model for providing vocational and educational training, mentoring, case management, supportive and linkage services to create successful transitions to employment and career pathways. Jericho provides services for any Los Angeles County resident 18 years and older. Additionally, our Jericho program specializes in vocational services tailored for individuals impacted by the criminal justice system

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Master's Degree-Registered or licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LMFT or LCSW)
• Two years of experience working with individuals with a history of mental illness in a social service/mental health environment.
• Current California driver's license, valid car insurance and registration.
• DMH documentation and EXYM experience a plus.
• COVID-19 vaccination required. May request medical or religious exemption if applicable.
