Job DescriptionMechanical Products Team (MPT) Sr. Principal Technical Support Engineer position in the Tactical Radar Products Department. This position performs oversight of labs and operations for material procurements within the Tactical Radar Products department programs. These activities include technical oversight of labs, program procurement activities, material logistics along with mentorship and training. Position in Fullerton, CA. Support areas include Hardware Assembly and checkout, Fielding installation and deployment, as well as cross-functional support on a number of International and Department of Defense (DoD) C2 programs. Responsibilities include: Engineering Lab Operations - Lab Manager responsible for planning, building & configuration, operation & maintenance of engineering development & production labs to satisfy program requirements compliant to required process and procedures Procurement Support - Interface with Integrated Supply Chain to provide engineering guidance on procurement activities. Procurement activity tracking and status, coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries Hardware Assembly - Electronics packaging, HW assembly and deployment, Field installation. Follow and ensure compliance with RMD and MPT process initiatives, Execute RMD Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and TR Product department strategies and goals U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Required Education, Skills and Experience: * Bachelor of Science in engineering, technical or business management, or supply chain/logistics * Ten (10) years' prior leadership in frontline or project manager / leader roles * Six Sigma Specialist certified * Experience in requirement compliance and product qualification / control processes * Experience with proposal capture process and development of TINA compliant basis of estimates for US Government contracts * U.S. Citizenship is required Desired Education, Skills and Experience: * Technical experiences in Command & Control products, HW System admin and/or basic COTS networking background * Active DoD Security clearance * Familiarity with Raytheon procurement, logistics, and shipping processes * Excellent written and verbal skills * Working knowledge or experience with military C2 and radar equipment * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at one time in a fast paced environment * Effective interpersonal communication skills * Proven problem-solving skills * Familiarity working with USG, DCMA, and/or customers during program development and selloff * Demonstrated team player, with excellent collaboration and mentoring skills * Advocate for process improvement (eg CMMI, R6S), team builder and able to build strong relationships and effectively partner with internal resources. 170825 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
