Job Description:
US Foods, a premier distributor to the foodservice sector, is
seeking a dedicated T3 Fleet Mechanic to join our transportation &
logistics team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the
operational readiness and efficiency of our delivery fleet,
consisting of a diverse range of vehicles crucial to daily business
operations. As a T3 Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for
performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks
on various vehicle systems, playing a direct role in enabling US
Foods to maintain its promise of outstanding service delivery to
our vast network of customers. Conduct routine and complex
maintenance and repair operations on all types of vehicles in the
company fleet. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide timely
solutions. Maintain a log of vehicle conditions and service
requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and
regulations. Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule
maintenance and minimize downtime. Strong mechanical aptitude and
problem-solving skills. Experience with diagnostic computer
software. Adept in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Good organizational and communication skills. Medical Insurance
