Job Summary:The Network Engineer assists in the development, maintenance, configuration, deployment, and support of network and computing systems, providing hands-on technical support, and troubleshooting solutions for all systems, including routers, switches, LAN/WAN (video, VoIP, and data networks), firewalls, load balancers, wireless access points, WLC, cloud networking, and other network infrastructure devices.Building/replacing network hardware and software configurations per design, working with network architects and related support teams.Performing in-depth protocol and network analysis to determine root cause of impact.This position serves as a member of the Data Center and Network Operations team and provides level 2/3 support for incidents. It supports daily operations and administration of LAN and WAN systems; performs scheduled maintenance; triages user requests; and logs, coordinates, and tracks requests for assistance related to IT-supported systems.Responsibilities:Represents Infrastructure as part of Enterprise ArchitectureSupport design and execution of Infrastructure Strategic Plans andHelp to manage E2E asset tracking and infrastructure budgetCreates network design packages and updates master documentation to reflect as-built configurations.Partners with customers, vendors, and technology groups to understand network requirements, and create optimal solutionsManages service transitions for new deployments to ensure quality products are delivered into the production environment.Provides support for critical network problems, including occasional on-call responsibilities for escalated issuesIndependently identify, troubleshoot, document, and escalate complex problemsPerforming in-depth protocol and network analysis to determine root cause of application and network performance related problemBuilding/replacing network hardware and software configurations per designFriendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with othersGood problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve itConfigure and troubleshoot server load balancing mechanisms and algorithms.Proficient understanding and experience using configuration management and/or diagnostic tools, monitoring applications and performance analysis tools.Will work with distributed, complex enterprise deployments including: multi-tiered environments, virtualization technologies, operating systems, routing, monitoring, storage connectivity, capacity planning, backups, network securityBasic Qualifications:Cisco Certification CCNAAzure or AWS Networking experienceTroubleshoot & support networking concepts and protocols such as: VLAN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, VRF, IP Subnetting, MPLS, OSPF, DMZ, and BGP routing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred Qualifications:Palo Alto CertificationExposure to working in a Compliance network environment (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX)Engineer cloud network components such as Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers.Required EducationMinimum of 3 Years Relevant ExperiencePreferred EducationBachelor's DegreeAdditional Information:Role may be based out of Orlando, Anaheim, or Burbank markets.DISNEYTECH
