Women's Volleyball Assistant Coach

Job Description:
Position Information Under the direction of the Head Coach, the
Assistant Coach of Women's Volleyball is responsible for assisting
with all aspects of a NCAA Division I Volleyball program, including
but not limited to, the identification and recruitment of
academically and athletically qualified student-athletes;
supporting the academic progress of student-athletes; preparing and
conducting individual and team practices, training, film review,
statistical analysis, and competition; fostering the academic,
athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes; organizing team
and staff travel arrangements; facilitating administrative duties
and paperwork; managing the distribution and ordering of team
equipment and office supplies, coordinating and administering
special volleyball events' social media and representing the sports
program as needed in association with promoting and fundraising for
the program. Two positions will be filled under this recruitment.
The full salary range for the Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach is
$43,500 -$70,900 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of
considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications,
experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants
must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff
position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over
sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University

University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may
be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government
directives may impose additional requirements Education Education
Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent
experience/training with a college-level program. (Required)
Certification Requirements May need to maintain NCAA certified
recruiter status. (Preferred) May need to maintain CPR/AED and
First Aid certification. (Preferred) Experience Requirements 2 - 4
years of related experience. (Required) Minimum Requirements
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively
with athletic participants. Current knowledge of applicable rules
and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National
Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of
Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as other associations and
agencies to which the campus adheres, and, at all times avoid any
and all violations of these rules and standards. Demonstrated
effective problem solving and communication skills, verbally and in
writing. Specialized knowledge of the team sport or activity, as
well as basic technical expertise in coaching principles. Ability
to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making; be an effective
problem solver and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
