Having growth organically from a single truck, we now operate a full fleet of construction trucking vehicles to support earth removal, equipment moving, hauling, and other transportation needs within the construction field. Why join us? 20 years in business Leadership position Competitive salary Benefits Job Details Position Overview: The Controller, reporting to the President, will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, controls, and compliance. Day to Day Responsibilities: Manage all accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records Manage preparation of financial statements Timely financial reporting Develop and maintain internal controls Conduct quarterly and annual audits Analyze cost structures, help to ensure maximum profitability Financial forecasting and budget control Continuous improvement of processes and procedures Manage, coach, and develop department staff Work with management on financial strategies Oversee cash flow Analyze loans, ensure loan compliance Work with outside CPA for taxes and complaince Other reporting and duties as necessary Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6 years accounting experience 4 years accounting leadership Job costing experience Managing full cycle accounting and month-end close ERP system experience Financial reporting Preferred Qualifications: CPA Master's Degree Axon accounting software Interested in hearing more?
