The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, capable of managing and leading our assurance team toward maximum productivity and efficiency. The role demands a highly organized and responsible leader, equipped with a strong problem-solving ability and a relentless focus on quality and results. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our company, driving the assurance strategy, and ensuring our financial operations are compliant, efficient, and effective. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the assurance team, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of assurance services. Lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Handle engagement scheduling and budgeting, with a focus on optimizing profitability and efficiency. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, effectively interacting with all stakeholders. Resolve complex accounting issues, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS. Utilize various assurance applications and research tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of assurance processes. Monitor billings and collections, ensuring engagement profitability. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancement. Play a key role in client development, leveraging relationship-building skills to expand our client base and strengthen existing client relationships. Qualifications: Minimum of eight years of experience in public accounting, preferably in a Big 4 or National accounting firm. Prior significant supervisory experience, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills. Extensive experience in auditing, with a proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams. Exceptional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders. Experience with various assurance applications and research tools. Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS. Proven ability to resolve complex accounting issues. Strong people development and delegation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage engagement scheduling and budgeting. Proven track record in client development and relationship building. Commitment to ensuring engagement profitability, including billings and collections.
