Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sales Tax Expert to manage client
sales tax compliance and provide guidance on obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for clients on all sales tax
matters, managing registrations, filings, and communications
Act as a liaison to internal Sales Tax Specialists for client
onboarding and platform setup
Advise clients on complex tax scenarios and proactively communicate
updates related to filings and payments
Required Qualifications
Solid understanding of U.S. sales tax concepts, including nexus and
registration requirements
Experience in sales tax compliance for U.S.-based businesses,
either in-house or through a consultancy
Strong client-facing skills to explain complex tax concepts
clearly
Commercial mindset comfortable interacting with startups and
finance teams
Previous experience in customer-facing tax advisory or compliance
SaaS is a plus
